Northernlion and offbrand games to Publish Social Deduction Roguelike Demon Bluff
Prepare to uncover the truth in Demon Bluff. This upcoming roguelike card game comes from Polish developer UmiArt and American publisher offbrand games. It launches in 2026 for PC and consoles (TBA). This unique single-player experience tasks players with identifying demons. Because these monsters have infiltrated a village by disguising themselves as friends, players must be careful. Every character appears as a card, so you must decide which information is a lie. Specifically, players use Villager and Outcast cards to gather intel. You will also use unique abilities to find the truth. Whether you navigate randomized runs or draft a custom deck, you must see through these bluffs to save the village. Furthermore, progress unlocks dozens of new cards, skins, and decorations.
The project features significant backing from major content creators like Northernlion and Ludwig Ahgren. These partners help fund development and provide design recommendations as well. In addition, Northernlion is personally playtesting the title to provide feedback and marketing support. Demon Bluff is launching a major update to its Steam playtest to celebrate this partnership. This update features fresh content and UI improvements. It also includes various balance changes. Consequently, the unique hook helped the game become a viral hit. It currently sits as a Top 400 most-wishlisted game on Steam because players have already secured approximately 140,000 wishlists.
What We Can Expect
- 100+ unique character cards to collect

My Thoughts
I love One Night Ultimate Werewolf and even the classic Guess Who! Social deduction games are a really tasty cup of tea for me. When I saw the trailer and read the information, I knew that Demon Bluff would be a game for me. It is fantastic to see high-profile creators like Northernlion and Ludwig putting their weight behind indie studios to help bring these creative concepts to life. I am especially intrigued by how they have managed to translate that “who can you trust?” tension into a single-player roguelike experience.
